Can I take an American Heart Association or ASHI CPR course online?For American Heart Association and American Safety and Health Institute courses that include psychomotor skills such as CPR, students must complete a hands-on skills session to obtain an AHA or ASHI course completion card. With blended learning, students will practice and test skills to ensure competency during the hands-on skills session.

Which course do I take?Healthcare professionals, first responders, professional rescuers, fire, police, and emergency medical personnel need to complete a Basic Life Support (BLS) course. Check with your employer or licensing authority. Anyone else should take CPR/AED/ First Aid. If classes are for school or employment, doublecheck!

I placed an order, but my course has not shown up yet!American Heart Association and American Safety and Health Institute do not populate the classes instantly. At the very latest, allow 3 hours for your course to arrive. If it is after 5 p.m. when you place an order, you most likely will receive it the following morning, as both companies' offices close at that time.
